Sometimes we create opportunities for ourselves to be insane and unhappy. Studying our environment and friends around would help us know if to stay put or take a walk. There are lots of unhealthy relationships, not necessarily an intimate one, could be casual, sister-sister, brother-brother, office friendship, childhood friendship, etc., once you find out you're unhappy or its not beneficial, the only sane thing to do is "Take a Walk". Some will say, we've been friends forever, she's been my childhood friend, we've know since high school, it won't be easy to cut out from him/her, NONSENSE. There is everything wrong with being in an unhealthy relationship, filled with gossip, dirty talks, no progress talk, no success talk, "no way forward talk", you find out many of them are mere opportunists, friends for the moment.
Here are some ways to stay sane:
1. Stay true to yourself
2. Be quick to cut away from any relationship you aren't gaining anything from
3. Keep off from friend(s) who talk about others, you won't be spared too, 'cos she would do same with you
4. Keep some secrets to yourself, you must not share everything about you to the next person
5. Indulge yourself in activities that would make you happy or that can be beneficial
6. Stay happy
