Been a long time.....

I can't believe I ignored my baby (blog) for five days, my bad. Been super busy of late. Remember I said I had a new project I was to work on? Yeah, it came through, It finally did.
I remember years back when my cousin tried to talk me into the movies, in his words "you can do this, you've got the zeal, you've got the drive and strength", but I saw myself always nonchalant about it. Sometime in December I had a rethink of a lot of stuff and ideas I had and decided it was time to put a lot to action, the movie production was one of my priorities, then an online radio and a few ideas I have up.
Procrastination wasn't one of the  vices I needed to bring in to the new year, so I put a call across to the cousin, his excitement wasn't hidden and of course, lots of encouragement from him. We scheduled meetings, I was schooled about the very vital parts of production, I was introduced to a few who have left an indelible mark in this industry. Then the plan, then the story, then the cast, the crew, then the budget, then the funds, then the execution.
Meeting with the cast and crew was exceptionally great and educative. Indeed everyone is important in his/her own way, everyone has a thing to offer. A day was scheduled for call time, we had selected days to camp for the shoot. I met the cast, they were simply amazing, Judith Audu- the popular actress, blogger, radio host and amazing personality made it easy, she's a definition of humility and a teacher too, despite the accident on set, she kept on working. Total dedication to work, we love the beautiful Judith and admire her strength. Stanley Nze- the ever cheerful soul, good actor, great singer and indeed a true MOG, made it easy. Uncle Funso Adeolu is a father, a genius, a veteran in this, effortless in his work and I must add very patient. Tamara Eteimo- the beautiful, classy and easy going one who taught me some essential ingredients about the job and would say "don't worry production must go on". Angel Vara- the happy and ready to work wife and actress, made it easy with her smiles and support. Oh and there was Boj, Blessing and Amaka- great actors, who gave out their best effortlessly.
To the crew- the PM, the gaffer, DOPs, continuity, sound, the driver.....it was amazing. And to Seyi Hunter, the actress and co producer- active and strong willed, to the Director, Sobe Charles Umeh- the genius on set, hard worker, always cheerful, a creative personality. It was totally awesome.
Big shout out to this cast and crew of Gone Grey.
