Happy Married Life to my Bestie, Sophie

So best friend's wedding is today, the traditional wedding precisely. I miss her already, kai, attention is already divided, but hey, she found the love of her life *smiles*. All roads lead to Ikorodu today. I'm excited bout my cloth, decided to rock the Dashiki, which was neatly designed by a friend's friend, lol. Pictures will be uploaded later in the day.

Happy married life to all those walking down the aisle today as today is the International day of weddings. May today be the beginning of your happy days yet to come.‎

Strange but good feeling......I Like!

Excited, happy, glad, fascinated....i need more words....thats how I feel, same time, it's mixed with a heavy heart, fear, i'm not so sure if I can describe the way I feel in one word. No, no, I can't. But I love that I am happy, I love that I smile each day even after I realised my B.P was a 120/90, quite high for my age, nah....not good at all, not good 1 bit, but I'm happy, couldn't it be me trying to think less, is there a particular thing going on in my life that i'm not aware of? Things haven't completely fallen in place as I want them to? So why am I happy? Why do I have smiles everyday? Why do I automatically feel loved? Why do I stand by the mirror each day and see myself glow? Even with the new development on my face- the large pimples that just flooded my face, i'm still happy.

I did not apply for a contract, I did not win a contract, I haven't completed my Masters, I still don't have a car, I still need a lot of stuff: shoes, dresses, bags, weaves, etc, so, why do I feel butterflies, pardon me, why do I feel the whole zoo in my stomach? Why?

For whatever reason this is, God please let it stay, let it be forever, I love this feeling, I love this happiness, I love this moment, I love that i'm happy, I love love love love love everything.‎

Some truths ladies should know…by Gift Jonah

Today’s write up is for the ladies but not to worry guys, you can read through and be kind enough to forward to every lady on your contact. A friend of mine posted this on Facebook and I find it not only interesting but very true so I thought it wise to share. Read and see if you agree:

The way to a man’s heart is no longer his stomach but the quality of your brain.

If your man must be tall, dark and handsome then be ready to be the 2nd best because what you desire, others’ seek too.

If you allow your parents’ pressure push you into marriage, you may end up a single mom.

A man that slaps you before marriage will build a boxing ring after marriage. Guess who his opponent will be – YOU.

If what attracted him to you are your bosoms and the sexy legs you flaunted, the contents of your brain had better keep him else, there are too many well rounded and bigger bosoms waiting to snatch him away.

Men love sex, at least 95% that I’m aware of. To him, if you can’t continue, don’t start. If you start, don’t stop. Be careful.

If he doesn’t discuss future plans with you in the picture, he just want a fling. Take note.

Even when you trust each other, a little jealousy reminds him you care.

Men love a listener. No matter how much you want your opinion to push through, listen to his details and don’t counter it.

When you are already living with him before marriage, he won’t propose quickly. So no to sex.

Don’t waste your years waiting for an unserious man to propose just because his parents love you. You are going to be married and live with him, not his parents.
When you seek his advice, you make him feel more of a man than he is.
Your encouragement or concern about his career or job works faster than listening to a motivational tape/CD.
An engagement ring isn’t an assurance for marriage. It could possibly make you his regular sex mate. It has happened to many, you better learn.

Hmmm… Interesting right? I will elaborate on each point in subsequent article.

Have a restful weekend ahead and keep looking beautiful…

Meet Grace Ofre....OUR WCW

The big and beautiful Grace Ofre hails from Cross River, Ogoja to be precise. Born and bred in Lagos, and calls herself Omo Eko. She's the first from a family of four. She attended SAN nursery/primary school, Agege, had her secondary school in Lagos,Pere Han's Secondary School. She served as the senior prefect, Assembly prefect (though she said she wasn't so sure why she had to hold this position, 'cos at the time, she wasn't  punctual and was a bit rascal) #Hehe, but it became a work over at the long run, she was also made the health prefect 'cos of her caring heart.
She is currently an undergraduate of the Lagos state Univeristy-LASU, studying English and literary studies.

Singing has been her first love, she has gone for auditions but it  wasn't paving way for her so she bent to her second love which is acting. She started acting officially in 2006, where she starred in "Troubled Water', a tv series. Then she moved on to:

-Black Silhouette directed by Charles Uwagbai who also directed Okoro the prince. Here, she acted as a prostitute who hustled life to the fullest...

- Trulis- she played the character "Ekaette", a house help.

- The Johnson's where she played Dorothy. A challenging role that made her act a 16 year old. She gives credit to the make up artiste on set who gave her the perfect look. The tv series starred: Ada Ameh, Chinedu Ikediezie, etc.

- Find the dream directed by Doris Ariole, she played the role of a step mother, a drunk
and an addict

- Benevolence directed by Doris Ariole. Starred Kalu Ikeagwu, Emeka Smith, Patrick Doyle, Tim Godfferey, etc.

- Freezing Point directed by Rotimi Raju.

Grace has been lucky enough not to be among the long queue of those who wait hours for movie auditions. It all comes through referrals, lucky her I must say.
She believes versatility makes a real actor. She has also participated in a stage drama, titled: "Ikosi". In her words, "you need to be extra-ordinarily talented to be on stage and make the impression".

In future, she'd love to work with the likes of Joke Silva, Genevieve Nnaji, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Mercy Johnson. And for directors: Lancelot Imaseun and Emem Isong.
When Clarexpression asked where she sees herself in five years, this was what she told us:
"I'll love to bless people with my acting, i'll also love to be a lecturer at the New York Film Academy" and asides these, I hope to kick off my foundation to cater for the widows, to be the crown over their heads".
If it wasn't singing or acting, Grace Ofre would be a radio presenter.
When asked if she could date a colleague in the industry, she said, Never say Never...

Her words to the young ones: STAY OUT OF DRUGS.

It was great spending few minutes of our time with the graceful Grace. A minute with her is filled with laughter.

Believe in yourself by Gift Jonah

Believing in yourself automatically makes you a candidate for success. Self-worth is very vital in the realm of success. If you are a businessman with a lot of competitors, all you need do is to believe in the uniqueness of your product and how better you can deliver your service to ensure you standout.

Until you believe your capabilities and see yourself on top, you cannot move to another level. Never let the spirit of fear rob you of your opportunities. Most people today feel limited to succeed because they do not believe they have what it takes to succeed in their human endeavor. Some other people fail in their careers and even relationship because they easily fall prey to fear of rejection or defeat.

Friends, fear is that cancer that destroys your will to succeed, it limits you. There will never be another you, so believe in yourself and make the most of your life meaningfully.

Monday Seeds

If you want to build friendship, grow love, retain a relationship, maintain an association there is one basic tool you must need... and that's COMMUNICATION.
You must keep communication channels open with things you wish to build, you must speak to them and about them regularly.
In the same vein, if you wish to end a friendship, relationship, association... We must cut communication.

The reality is, this is not just true with people, it also holds true with LIFE. We must learn to cut communication with things we don't hope to grow and open communication with those we hope to grow.
Really, it's no point talking down and hoping to go up... you can't keep saying things like "I don die, this economy; men dey roast..." and hoping for the best. If you want to go up, learn to talk 'up' and quit talking 'down'.

Quit communications with negative words and eventually you would end any relationship with negative experiences.
Open communication with positive phrases and you would eventually build positive experiences... say things like "I am the greatest, I am the best, I am the man in charge...., reminds me of Muhammed Ali who would say "I'm not the greatest; I'm the double greatest. Not only do I knock 'em out, I pick the round. I float like a butterfly and sting like a bee".... and sure he kept being tops because he kept talking up.

The truth is, our words form our world... to build a great world for yourself is to always speak great words to yourself.

Point: Speak right words it brings rewards.

Meet Dialect....Our MCM

My name is Felix Emeka Otuokere, am from Imo state but born and bred in Asaba, Delta state. Growing up was fun and full of adventure, 'cos as the last born in a family of
four boys i had the whole time to run around because i didn't have much to do in the house, but that didn't make me lazy tho. I believe so much in hard work starting from when i was little. Back then in secondary school, i found myself doing lots of break dancing to add to my other hobby which is drawing. The dancing thing took me places even after school, then i realised i had music and melody in me calling up seriously, so i made that switch to singing, that gave birth to the Dialect you know today.

I started music as far as 2002 after my dad's death but was more of underground till i perfected on my skills and learnt a lot to hold me up, then in 2008 i released an album titled Feel me' . This album didn't do well in the market cos as you know it was my first and i still had a lot to know (music business, contact, distribution....) which i did pick up fast enough, at this time i was already a music producer, in fact i produced almost all my songs. Later around 2009/2010 i released a single titled "Carry my heart", which did very well in the industry, followed closely with another single titled "Janglover", which did even better than all, this song brought me to the limelight, though a whole lot of people thought it was P-square that was behind the song. Sincerely, that very misconception robbed me of my rights in the industry. But am working hard to correct that.

I made videos, and released more singles, featured few artistes  like Hype mc, Slowdog, Assorted, Charass, Solid star, Vector, Illbliss and many more, some of these songs are
yet to drop. As at this time i already got signed to Morgan Entertanment in 2012. After i signed with Morgan entertainment, i travelled to South Africa and shot Nneoma video, released more singles, at some point i had an issue with the record label and had to pause on everything at the time, to fix loose ends. ‎

Finally we back together and for good and this gave birth to my recent singles Blessing and Kilibe. These songs are currently spreading like virus and am so impressed by the love people have on the songs, a whole lots of events never get complete without playing these new songs, especially Kilibe, which is so much a wedding song. As i speak to you we are working seriously on the videos of these songs and in no time you will see the visuals on every platform you can think of.

My advice to everyone who has got a dream in the sphere, it is good to dream but it is best to wake up and work towards your dream, believe in your self and be consistent
and one day success will be your name.
