Meet the Entrepreneur.....Ruby!!!

Meet the beautiful mum and wife who loves fashion and has taken to a different level. She derives joy in styling and still keeps up the mummy and wifey roles combined with her 9-5. Amazing woman. Read through:

My name is Ruby, I have  always loved to buy and sell from a very young age and I  love love fashion!!! Smiles.... Though it now takes a lot more effort to dress up properly
being a mum.

I have always dreamt of being a Top fashion Consultant . I started really small with a few orders here and there, but been passionate about it, I have grown from the past years and it's a second source of income for me as well as been  financially independent. Oh well combining business with 9-5, mummy and wifey duties it's not a joke lol. But with God, passion, my amazing clients and the joy I derive from styling my clients, keep me going.

To succeed in anything you need God and must be very passionate about it. I mean you must love love what you do!! Every woman can be financially independent, just pray check within and locate what you love doing best and start from somewhere till you get to the top.

Abigail Kryashun!!!

Meet Joy Ernset-Omagbe, CEO Abigail Kryashun (creation), lol. She studied Law at the University of Benin. Joy is a passionate make up artiste who, over the years has acquired lots of enviable skills in the business and has made a name especially in the South-South region, Benin, where she resides.‎

She refers to herself as a "Very Good Bad Wife", #Wink. She is married to the most wonderful man in the world (and like she'd always say this isn't a cliché), it's the absolute truth.

She gets fulfilled when she expresses her creativity on faces. She has built quite a number of clients and is still expanding each day.

I have experienced her creative touch and can confidently tell how much of a professional she is. ‎

Esther's baby shower.

So much fun organising a baby shower for my friend's sister. My friend Tina likes perfection and so we started the planning a month before time, had to google about the right things to buy.

It was a colourful one, I loved the small chops and Chapman, the cup cakes- amazing, oh, the dance was amazing, the old school collection was super amazing. The decoration was on point. I loved that Esther's friends (very few of them, very few, 'cos she just wouldn't keep friends, lol,
which is healthy though, *sighs*) turned up hard despite the busy schedules.

I think Esther looks really sexy with her belly *laughs*, it's always fun watching her walk, like a
big baby. The baby bump goes pretty well on her. We can't wait to hear the cry of a baby.
Big ups to all who turned up yesterday. We look forward to Mrs. Jess' celebration, another turnt day. While I still wait on papa Ginika ooooo, lol.

My wedding story by Sophire...

My wedding I must say was a success, a big success. There were temptations here and there to make me angry even on my big day . First I want to say a big thank you to all my bridesmaids especially my chief for making my day special. Also to all the groomsmen, a big shout out to you all, I love you guys. Let me share a few angry moments apart from the occasional quarrels with my husband…..hehehehehe (worth it) and also a few happy ones.

Let’s start with the rings: would love to mention the culprit’s name but my husband says I should please not destroy their business, so let’s call them the “ring people”. I saw a ring that I liked on the ring people’s  Instagram page, mum checked it out by going to their store, I paid more than half of the cost and when it was time for them to deliver my ring, the ring people said my ring had been ‘mistakenly sold’. Like seriously!! To say I was upset is an understatement.  And because the time I had to order a new set of ring was too close to the wedding, I had to settle for an alternate ring (from the ring people) to be used on the D Day pending when I had time to buy the ring I so desire.

Meanwhile, for the record, when I tried selling the alternate ring I got from the ring people’s store,  I got a shocker, the value of the ring sold was ridiculously less than the amount it was sold to me, apparently, the ring people multiplied the original cost by almost 7. Let’s leave that…
And my hair: the lady came in 30mins to when my wedding mass was supposed to start. I literally screamed her outta my room. *smiles*… let’s leave the bad to the good.

From when I stepped outta my hotel room to church till after the after party I was full of smiles. And right now I am filled with joy. The honeymoon……whew!! Oh the HONEYMOON was our honeymoon and it was romantic, amazing and adventurous as we went to two different continents. One of the luxury hotels had all things required in an apartment so I was able to cook delicious meals for my husband though I bin wan use pepper wound am…*lolzz but he ate it smiling and the other hotel was just wonderful, like they were literally waiting for us. Shout out to Folasade, for the amazing honeymoon package. Ohhh… we met one badt a** guy at the airport and he was putting on a jalamia with nothing inside but pant (yellow pant). Yes I said it, pant not boxers.

I would love to write more, infact I just gave a summary but I have to stop so as not to consume too much of my bestie blog space. But I must say…’marriage is a beautiful thing’.

Ps: my name is Sophie an I married a wonderful man Mr Femi Awopetu and I love him so very much . May God bless us and bless you. Amen.

Le Bestie's wedding...

I did not have the opportunity to write about Sophie's wedding last Saturday as I was literally her "Maid", lol. It was my first duty as a maid of honour and I was totally excited about it, my dress, my shoes, my hair...everything was on fleek, though I had some cold moments due to personal battles. But thank goodness I am way above it.

A night before was the bridal shower organised by her friends, big ups to Lola and Abigail. It was fun with the girls especially with one of the power puff girls who asides her day's job as an IT analyst, takes pictures for a living, Jaybaby as she is fondly called.

The morning after started off really great with Abigail's touch on my face, my hair and pictures.

Sophie looked exceptionally awesome from her dress to the facials, to her hair, to her shoes, to the beautiful dress. The train was beautiful too, lovely dress, lovely ladies and good looking grooms men.

I loved the fact there were lots of food to go round, no one standing up and asking for food or running for souvenirs, it was indeed a good day.

Happy married life to the new couple and hope they enjoy their stay in Dubai as they "honey moon".‎

The Hair Stylist- Precious

My name is Precious, i,am a stylist. I actually started styling some years ago and I started leaning how to make hair in a salon in ikorodu, I spent roughly 1year and 3months before I went over to Bobby's Signature on Allen Avenue, where I went professional on styling. On completion of my training,  I moved to stand on my own in my "little-big" way.

I intend to be great in this. To me, Styling is an expression, it creates that beauty, it brings out the "You", it's one of the most fascinating things: watching people look beautiful and giving them the: Chick look, classy look, boss look, provocative look, "I am in my teens" look, etc. I couldn't have wanted any better. In all of these, by ask  questions  and seek opinion from people (my customers and people who have been in the business) and of course I pray for the wisdom of God to lead me through the right path. ‎

I wish to be one of the best stylists ever with hard work and prayers. My dream is to be an international stylist, so I can play with the hands and create that expression for models both local and international.

I believe that whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well. ‎
