Say NO to Domestic Violence
Sadly, two kids have been rendered motherless, due to domestic violence, anger, lack of control, stupidity, wickedness, I need more words. Above is a picture of Late Ronke who was allegedly beaten to death by her husband. Loretta Okoh of www.lorettaokoh.blogspot.com has this to say:
Must some women continue to suffer in silence?
Must they take the beating and pounding?
Must they allow the society determine what become of them?
Must they allow the influence of family and friends determine how they live their lives?
Look yourself in the mirror, is what you see what you want?
Should a woman take beating from a man because he needs to prove his masculinity?
Must you tolerate his insecurity by beating you black and blue?
Maybe you love it and you decide to stay.
Marriage is for better for worse
But becomes a disaster when you man cannot protect you.
Any man who raises his hands on a woman is a weakling
A failure who is supposed to be in the ring to be a world champion in boxing
And not use a woman as teaching practice.
A coward who cannot defend himself except he uses his fist.
I pity those women who endure such beatings because they just signed their death warrant and gave the man to finish.
Think of your children, before taking the next fist,
Think of your life, before the next punch,
Think of your family, before you abuse him again,
Think of the society that still need you, before you become beaten and battered.
Say NO to Domestic Violence
Say NO to Violence
Say No go Abuse
#Loretta Okoh say so.

The beauty of silence
Pushed to the wall, betrayed, angered, insulted, not getting what you want, near success, accusations, these are some reasons why we fall prey to frustrations, anger, we use words never to be used, we fall into the trap of regrets mostly because we allowed our tongues cause us a life time of regret.

Our Government is working oooo
Well, two months ago, I was at the CAC-Corporate Affairs Commission office in Ikeja. It wasn't so much of a hassle, because they made life so easy, walk in, do your transaction and gbam, you're out. So in the midst of filling forms and submitting documents, I made a silly mistake by displacing information for different boxes and then went ahead to pay in 10,000naira in the bank which was cancelled because of my mistake. Long story short, I paid another 10,000, was asked to write a Refund letter which I reluctantly did cos common, it's Nigeria. Well, 2 weeks later, I got a call from Abuja saying my account number wasn't correct and was told to call out the right one, in less than a minute, I got the alert. Praise Master Jesus.
In the words of my very good friend, Lyte, "Our God of small small miracle". So if this can happen, dollar can indeed fall to #1.
I drop my golden pen here and wait for more shocking but good miracle. Thank you ooo AwÒn CAC.
Happy New Month
My birth month is here and I wish everyone well. And to those celebrating this month, may God bless your new age, give you wisdom, protect you and grant your heart desires.

Say a prayer for the people of Nimbo
Sadly, about 40 persons have been reportedly killed by some Fulani herdsmen at Nimbo in Uzo-uwani Local Govt Area of Enugu State. There has been lots of speculation about the incident, no fewer than 500 herdsmen sneaked into the community prepared to launch an attack.

Nkeiruka Bright Akparuorji is a hard-working, creative and tireless young lady who ventures in almost everything. She is a strong lady who knows that in all you do, you must put God first. As young as she is, I admire her strength and love her passion for entrepreneurship.
You should hear her sing or be in her drama mood, she lightens up the place and puts up a serious face each time (not sure why she does that, lol). She has a good sense of fashion and pulls off anything and everything well.
God bless her.
UNN FASHION WEEK
All things bright and beautiful....
Good morning Fam, yet another day to start right. Drop the pain of yesterday, the anger, the past, let your heart be filled with peace and happiness. The devil must have tried to steal your joy yesterday, but be bold enough to take back your peace. Nothing as good as being free. As humans, sometimes we remember the hurt of yesterday, the pain a loved one must have put us through, Yes it is only human that we think of or about it, but holding on to it, is one thing we need to fight. Bruise for some minutes, but be fast to let it go, drop the pain, think of the good, think of the fact that you also must have hurt a person. It's easier said than done but it is possible, it is achievable.
If you're lucky to fight this, if you're lucky to let go of the past, you have succeeded to gain freedom, you've succeeded to gain peace of mind. Give it a try today and see how light you become. You'd eventually see how things are bright and beautiful.
Smile through it, forgive your past, forgive the hurt, let go of the pain. No one is perfect.

"At age of 16 I lost my father and eventually I lost hope in a better life. Back then, I made few mistakes but then decided to redirect my life and add a value to my community. I sponsored myself through school working with local artisans on construction sites and doing all kinds of menial jobs. Though I had many concerns in my life like bringing food on the table, I always had time to community service. I decided that I will help so many African young adult to find themselves and start taking responsibility for local problems in their community. I am currently the founder of Young Protégé Leadership Academy, an organization aimed at raising trans-generational leaders to bring about socio-economic development and growth in Africa using education and mentorship".
Tobi is a young entrepreneur, whose passion towards raising exceptional trans-generational leaders that will turn Africa around led him to be trained and equipped nationally and internationally by the Bureau of International Program, U.S Department of State, Daystar Leadership Academy and TECHCAMP West-Africa.
Tobi has designed and managed the implementation of social development projects targeted at motivating, educating and inspiring young leaders in Nigeria; especially in marginalized communities such as slums and hard-to-reach communities in Nigeria. He developed the first African leadership paper board game called Protégé LEAD game that as touched over 2500 lives and also created the protégé mobile app 1.0 which is on googleplay to educate young adults about civic and leadership education.
Just few days ago he met with the Vice President of Nigeria and he presented his Protégé LEAD game to him.

Gone Grey
The 17th of April is a memorable day for me, a day when days and nights of hard work was made a success. The premiere of my movie Gone Grey was a success, was a hit back to back (I had to use that biko 'cos I've never had the opportunity to use "back to back"). I thank everyone who came through for me. Those who travelled all the way just to show their support: Mama T, I owe you big time, despite your busy schedule and the run around for your wedding, you still made it through to show a sister some love, God bless you big. Gone Grey premiere was on a Sunday, I had little worry over the turn out because a lot of people are always engaged in church meetings and all on Sundays but I was blown away by the number of people who showed up.
In one way or the other, my friends showed support in different ways: Temmzy, Ganiu, Chival just to mention a few whose services were extremely used. To Elo, who never trades her Sundays for anything, you made it there and in time, thank you honey.
To my family, my colleagues, NOUN coursemates, the PRESS who were up and about, you were all awesome from start to finish.
I enjoyed the moment during screening, the laughter, the applause, it was super cool. The character "Boj" blew everyone's mind, I loved the feed back I got after screening. Thanks to the bloggers who showed up especially Reshayo of Funtaqa and the movie critic who came through.
To friends and family who also showed their support financially and otherwise but couldn't make it, I totally appreciate everyone and I say a very big thank you. Pictures say it all, it became colourful with a touch of LOJ Photography, he sure knows how to use the cameras and ofcourse to Tola of Fabulous Adiva Stitches for my lovely dress, my Make Up by the glam Miss Onyi of Chocolate Artistry. You guys were wonderful.
To Kevin O, for the prayers, my Bamboo Shoes, purse, watch, *laughs* you actually styled me. Thank you plenty plenty for your immense support and constructive criticism.
To the cast and crew of Gone Grey, what more can I say, THANK YOU. GOD bless the director of this movie, God bless Hunters Media (my co producer)
A Better Morning
To that one person who believes in himself but still gets discourages because of low financial status, discouraging words from friends and frenemies....Stand tall, God has given you another day, another reason to live and fulfil your dreams, you're responsible for your actions. Always remember that a lot of people discourage others because they can't breed good ideas like yours, they're just jealous, they are enemies of progress. You owe yourself some level of happiness.
Make it a point of duty to create new ideas, take chances, make a move, but in all of these: "Put all your plans in God's hands, Trust in Him and watch Him work wonders"...He remains God.
Beautiful lovelies. God bless our hustle.
