Pushed to the wall, betrayed, angered, insulted, not getting what you want, near success, accusations, these are some reasons why we fall prey to frustrations, anger, we use words never to be used, we fall into the trap of regrets mostly because we allowed our tongues cause us a life time of regret.
Sometimes we need to caution our inner being, we. Need to work on ourselves, we need to discipline our thoughts, our words, our reactions to situations. Over time I have learned to control my emotions especially when it comes to a heated argument, misunderstandings or situations that could lead to raising my voice or exchanging words, I had to fight through this, I'm still on this journey but to a large extent, I have worked on my reaction, guess we all have that one vice we battle or fight to quit.
Staying silent, is one very difficult thing to do I must admit but it happens to be the best thing to be done especially for a person who is quick to anger. Interestingly, half of the wwords used by a quick angered person doesn't mean anything to him or her but ofcourse means a lot to the recipient. Words uttered cannot be taken back.
There is great beauty in silence, it resolves situation, it solves a lot of would-be problems, it gives you peace at the long run, it saves you a lot of drama and heart ache.
