A soul sister shares her experience....Piece by Timi

My Name is Mrs Nwagwu Timipre, i'v been married for 6mths.. lol, I met my hubby in owerri, Oct 2006 precisely.
Well, I went to spend a weekend with my friend at her cousins when my hubby "my bf" came visiting.. yea, we started as friends and he asked me out few weeks later "I accepted 2 date him on his birthday...I figured my fiance had all the qualities I wanted in a man‎,  I could share my insecurities and I could make myself so vulnerable,‎ I had absolutely no desire to go back to my past relationship.. he sure was and is the perfect man for me.. Hmmm, my fears were " getting disappointed been that I had dated him for years, not seeing the relationship having a head way... We dated for 7yrs / courted for 2yrs (9yrs) . I asked myself severally, "timi, how do u know u'r ready for marriage?" Right after he got me engaged. Then I analysed myself.. , I figured I couldn't make decisions without consulting him, he was my 1st phone call when I got any goodnews, my emergency contact, my emotions were tied to him.. I could go on and on and on.. lol.
He made me see reasons why marriage was lot more fun dan dating and up until dis moment, he hasn't changed a bit.. same old loving, caring n romantic man.. I sure would choose him again if i am asked to.

Marriage has been so much fun.. yea, I may have been married for few months but i'v been enjoying every bit of it.. most times, I ask myself why didn't I get married earlier years...
There has not been much of a difference.. Marriage isnt always easy, but we sure are enjoying it‎. It's been Awesome... I do not miss my single days at all.. like I said, I wish I got married few years back. Well, there's nothing i'd like 2 change about him.. he's been sweet as ever.. I sure would choose him over and over again... Prayers, patience,  trust, understanding, good communication,  spending quality time together, ...all these has kept my relationship strong and interesting... Oh well, so true.. settling issues within 24hrs help marriages grow.. it's also in d bible "do not allow the sun rise on your anger".. this, has also been a success tool 4 me though.. My secret has been "praying together".. I figured that each dat we kneel n pray to God, the bond gets stronger.. this, has helped me a great deal in my home.. life has been sooo easy, my marriage has been sooo awesome.. God has been faithful..

My advice to single ladies is "always put God 1st in whatever you do, be positive always because there's hope for a successful marriage, I am a testimony..  Also, learn to be very very patient when it comes 2 dealing with men.. it pays a whole lot.. "smiles".
