Meet Dialect....Our MCM
My name is Felix Emeka Otuokere, am from Imo state but born and bred in Asaba, Delta state. Growing up was fun and full of adventure, 'cos as the last born in a family of
four boys i had the whole time to run around because i didn't have much to do in the house, but that didn't make me lazy tho. I believe so much in hard work starting from when i was little. Back then in secondary school, i found myself doing lots of break dancing to add to my other hobby which is drawing. The dancing thing took me places even after school, then i realised i had music and melody in me calling up seriously, so i made that switch to singing, that gave birth to the Dialect you know today.
I started music as far as 2002 after my dad's death but was more of underground till i perfected on my skills and learnt a lot to hold me up, then in 2008 i released an album titled Feel me' . This album didn't do well in the market cos as you know it was my first and i still had a lot to know (music business, contact, distribution....) which i did pick up fast enough, at this time i was already a music producer, in fact i produced almost all my songs. Later around 2009/2010 i released a single titled "Carry my heart", which did very well in the industry, followed closely with another single titled "Janglover", which did even better than all, this song brought me to the limelight, though a whole lot of people thought it was P-square that was behind the song. Sincerely, that very misconception robbed me of my rights in the industry. But am working hard to correct that.
I made videos, and released more singles, featured few artistes like Hype mc, Slowdog, Assorted, Charass, Solid star, Vector, Illbliss and many more, some of these songs are
yet to drop. As at this time i already got signed to Morgan Entertanment in 2012. After i signed with Morgan entertainment, i travelled to South Africa and shot Nneoma video, released more singles, at some point i had an issue with the record label and had to pause on everything at the time, to fix loose ends.
Finally we back together and for good and this gave birth to my recent singles Blessing and Kilibe. These songs are currently spreading like virus and am so impressed by the love people have on the songs, a whole lots of events never get complete without playing these new songs, especially Kilibe, which is so much a wedding song. As i speak to you we are working seriously on the videos of these songs and in no time you will see the visuals on every platform you can think of.
My advice to everyone who has got a dream in the sphere, it is good to dream but it is best to wake up and work towards your dream, believe in your self and be consistent
and one day success will be your name.
