Prayers work indeed

Sometimes we really don't know how to express what we are going through, sometimes we try but the next person clearly doesn't understand anything you're saying, well it could be because he/she has never been in such position or just can't relate with your story. Sometimes the best could be to create a "pretty loud silence" within and around us, YES, sometimes it helps, and the other time it worsens it. In the midst of the silence, the heart ache, the pain. have you thought of doing the most important thing? Have you obeyed the law in the good book, that says PRAY? Don't be ashamed to go down on your knees, don't be afraid to pace round the office while praying, don't be ashamed to let the tears out and pray.

Prayer changes our situations, it opens our hearts, it is the key to unlock those seemingly closed doors, it is the only master key, it is the best convo to have with God.‎ There is no specific time to pray, pray at all times.

Have you tried praying? May be you should. It works wonders. ‎

Thanks so much for the support

It's been one successful outing to the other. Gone Grey has been in cinemas and I'm thankful for the support from Lagos, Ilorin, Warri, Port Harcourt, Uyo and Benin. The next project will be better than this. Shout out to Judith Audu who has also been selling out at the cinemas for her movie "Just not married". We are not smiling this year. We hope to give you better viewing back to back.

Gone Grey is still in cinemas, so you can still go out and watch. Thanks Fam.

Something I need to share with you...

After all has been said and done, God still remains the only reliable being. What He does? How He does it? It's super amazing. Sometimes the faith fail me, sometimes I begin to wonder where He is, sometimes I doubt His existence just because things aren't working the way i'd love them to. Sometimes, the dark mind reminds me of the times I went contrary to His teachings and how I am paying for it, sometimes......sometimes.....it becomes difficult to comprehend His ways. Just when I decide to ignore everything happening to me and just watch whatever comes my way, He shows up- He starts by filling my heart with peace, He sends a helper, He puts a smile on my face, He doesn't just solve the immediate problems, He brings new opportunities I imagined once but killed the imagination 'cos I felt it was never possible.

I haven't lived so long to know all the answers about how things work but I know for sure how that one person works, He is slow to anger, He shows up at the right time, He does the impossible and He calms the troubled sea (the problems we have).
If you haven't found Him yet, if you don't know Him yet then you're LOST. You're lost without Him.

Reasons you should believe me:

1) I have tried Him

2) I have seen results

3) He has shown up severally during the seemingly hopeless situations

4) He has bailed me out of troubles a thousand times

5) I have seen His works in my family....

I need you to try Him out so you can share your reasons to the world.‎

Husband of deceased Domestic Violence Victim finally found

The man, who allegedly killed his wife in the Egbeda area of Lagos state, Lekan Shonde and went into hiding, had attempted to flee to Benin Republic where he hoped to proceed to Ghana to avoid being arrested for his alleged crime.
The suspect had on Thursday last week, allegedly murdered his wife, Ronke, over claims that she was adulterous.
He on Monday, surrendered himself to the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, of the Lagos State Police Command.
The Kwara State-born suspect, who denied killing his wife, insisted that she was hypertensive and that his wife was his most prized possession hence could not have killed her. He said death was his last intention for her.
Reports say immediately Lekan arrived the Command, he uttered: “I wish death would take me right now.”
While Lekan was in hiding, he reportedly attempted to flee to the Benin Republic where he hoped to proceed to Ghana, but all his moves were reportedly trailed by the Police, until he was forced to make a U-turn from Ondo State.‎

Lekan was said to have sent a message via WhatsApp to one of his friends announcing his intention to commit suicide, in order to end the whole matter, Vanguard reports.
The conversation dated May 7, 2016 read: “I want to die. Pls help me, I can’t face the Police or cell, they will kill me.”
Lekan, however, sent another text, yesterday morning, to this same friend saying, “Morning, Senior Sunday, thanks for everything you have done. I want to go to the CP’s office now.
“You are the only one that advised me not to kill myself. I will respect you till I die.
“I never killed my wife,” the message read.
Upon interrogation at the Command, Lekan insisted he did not kill his wife, although he admitted that there was a quarrel between them a day before she died over infidelity on the part of his late wife.
Lekan said, “The cause of the quarrel was over infidelity. I over-heard her discussing on phone with one Kayode, who was her boss and lover. I never killed my wife.
“We had a normal quarrel after she owned up that she had a man friend. We didn’t talk over-night.
“She held my legs begging, as I was leaving the house that morning. And I pushed her away. As I left the house my son bolted the door behind me.
“Later, our nanny called to alert me of what had happened. I immediately called my landlady’s daughter, who confirmed that my wife was dead and as I was rushing back home, neighbours called to inform me that policemen were there that I should run away. That was why I ran away.
“I loved my wife; all my accounts are in her name. I bought her two cars and would not have wished for a better person as a wife. I did not kill her. She was hypertensive.”
Lekan, who was said to have spoken to a national daily from his hiding on Sunday, said “I never spoke with any journalist until now. The media misquoted me.”
He further disclosed that while in hiding, he contacted his late wife’s alleged lover to inform him of the trouble he had put his entire family into.
“I called Kayode and said ‘hope you have succeeded in ruining my marriage,’ and he apologized to me.”
One Gbenga Soloki, friend of the suspect who was present at the command, demanded for forensic investigation.
Soloki said: “When we got the information, as law abiding citizens, we asked him to come out of hiding. I know him as a gentle man; his account proved it, but unfortunately, his wife is not alive to state her side of the story.”
Meanwhile, the Manager Public and Government Affairs, Mobil Oil, Akin Fatunke, has denied that Lekan ever worked with the organisation.
“We don’t have any member of staff by name Lekan Shonde in our Apapa depot, it is obviously an error,” Fatunke stated.
